WORK LIFE PROGRAM
A comprehensive approach that including practical workshops, personalized career coaching, and access to valuable resources, to develop the confidence and competence to secure meaningful employment.
IMMIGRATION INTEGRATION
We welcome immigrants and refugees to the NYC areas with open arms and a warm heart with services such as; language and life skill programs, job readiness and resource building.
EDUCATION
We celebrate education! In Haiti we have a student sponsorship program, teacher training and vocational school. In the USA we support community outreach.

measurable progress
In Luke 19:13, Jesus, through a parable, teaches His disciples to “occupy” till He comes. This urgent message for them to keep busy is also a clarion call to use the time and resources one has wisely. There is work to be done and no time to waste. For the past two decades, BCDC has worked tirelessly to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-15) and help build others up (1 Thessalonians 5:11). BCDC continues to pursue P.E.A.C.E with all men (Hebrews 12:14, Hebrews 13:16).
GLOBAL IMPACT
BCDC programs are currently transforming communities in Leogane, Jeremie, Port Salut, Jacmel and Cape Haitian. We are rebuilding, repairing and restoring lives and transforming communities all over Haiti.

The Canarsie Courier has worked with, and covered, many of Beraca’s events over the years. We are proud to partner with an organization that is community-oriented and seeks to improve the quality of life in Canarsie and surrounding neighborhoods.
Beraca is an integral part of the community, always working to improve quality of life and provide social services for its residents. One thing that specifically comes to mind is the engagement of its youth in community events, such as area cleanups and beautification projects along Rockaway Parkway. The youth are our future, and Beraca is working diligently to ensure that our youth are trained up to be servants of the community.
As Canarsie has a large Haitian-American population, Beraca is at the forefront of ensuring the needs of Haitian-Americans are met.

Pastor Mullery has been the pastor of Beraca Community Church in Brooklyn, New York for over 20 years. The city considers him a go-to leader for addressing challenging issues and promoting justice.
