KEYNOTE SPEAKER | Hakeem Jeffries is a prominent U.S. politician and attorney serving as the House Democratic Leader since 2023, making history as the first Black lawmaker to lead a party in Congress. Representing New York’s 8th Congressional District, he has been a strong advocate for criminal justice reform, voting rights, and economic opportunity. Congressman Jeffries also played a key role in the passage of the First Step Act, a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill.

A St. Francis College graduate, Phil is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

SPEAKER & FOUNDER | Pastor Jean-Pierre holds seats on multiple local, national, and international boards. These include the Converge Worldwide and Converge Northeast Board of Overseers, where he serves over 1800 churches. Locally, he plays an integral role on the 69th Precinct Clergy Council, fostering collaboration between the police, clergy, and community to ensure safe neighborhoods.

From Manhattan
Take the FDR Drive South to the Grand Street exit. Make a right turn and proceed to North Fork. Make a right turn onto the Williamsburg Bridge (stay in right lane) and make the first right to Broadway. Take Broadway to Kent Avenue.
From Queens, Brooklyn & Staten Island
Take Brooklyn/Queens Expressway South to Wythe/Kent Avenue exit. Make right onto Kent Avenue. Proceed one mile. Giando will be on the left. From Brooklyn & Staten Island take the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway North to Flushing Avenue exit. At the second traffic light (Kent Avenue) make a left and proceed one mile. Giando will be on the left.
From the Bronx, Westchester & Connecticut
Take the FDR Drive South. Follow Directions for Manhattan.
From New Jersey
Take the George Washington Bridge to the FDR or Harlem River Drive South. Follow Directions for Manhattan.

Appetizers will be served during the social hour between 6-7 PM; a formal three-course dinner will follow.
